How we run the studios — booking, timing, cancellations and what we ask of you on the day. Worth two minutes before your first session.
These terms apply to every studio booking. By confirming a booking you accept them.
All bookings are made in advance through mcbstudiorental.com or by contacting the studio directly. A time slot is only held once payment has been received — an unpaid request does not reserve the room.
Studio 01 is paid in full at the time of booking. For Studios 02 and 04 you may pay in full or place a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Where a deposit is paid, the balance is due before your session begins. Sessions will not start until the balance is settled.
We accept Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money) and card payments. A payment prompt is sent to the number you provide at booking.

Sessions between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM carry a 10% late-night charge where booked within 12 hours of the slot.
Your booked time includes setup and pack-down. If you need an hour to light and dress the set, book that hour. Arriving at your start time and beginning setup then means losing shooting time.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your session so we can complete access checks and hand over the room on time.
We hold a protected gap between bookings so each client starts on a clean, reset room:
This time cannot be booked or bought. It is why a slot may appear unavailable even when the preceding session has ended.
Your session ends at the booked time. Please vacate within 15 minutes of finishing.
Where a session runs beyond its slot, overtime is charged at GH₵500 per hour, billed in full hours and payable before you leave. Where the following slot is booked, we cannot extend under any circumstances — the next client's time is not ours to give away.
Late arrival does not extend your session. If you arrive an hour late on a three-hour booking, two hours remain.
You may reschedule once, free of charge, if you tell us at least 7 days before your session. We will move you to another available slot, subject to availability. Inside 7 days the booking stands and the fee is not returned.
No-shows. Where you do not arrive, the session is treated as used and the full fee is retained.
Late arrival does not extend your session. If you arrive an hour into a three-hour booking, two hours remain.
If McB cancels. Where we cannot honour a booking through our own fault — equipment failure, a facility problem, or an error on our side — you will receive a full refund or a rescheduled session at no cost, whichever you prefer. This is the only circumstance in which money is returned.
Studio equipment and props included in your booking are for use inside the studio only and may not be removed from the premises.
You are responsible for damage caused by you, your crew or your guests, beyond ordinary wear. Repair or replacement is charged at cost, and we will provide documentation.
Do not move rigged lighting, cyclorama fittings or mounted equipment without a member of studio staff present.
Leave the room as you found it. Remove your own props, materials and waste. Where a room requires more than routine reset — paint, adhesive residue, confetti, food waste, or set materials left behind — a cleaning charge from GH₵300 applies.
The infinity cove in Studio 01 must not be walked on in outdoor footwear. Please ask staff before introducing water, sand, powder, paint or any substance to the cove.
No smoking or vaping anywhere on the premises.
Open flame, pyrotechnics, smoke machines and firearms — including replicas and props — require written approval in advance. Turning up with them on the day is not sufficient.
Alcohol is permitted only where agreed in advance and never where minors are present.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the whole session.
We may end a session without refund where conduct threatens the safety of people, the building or the equipment, or where the activity differs materially from what was booked.
Guest numbers should match your booking. Tell us in advance if you are bringing a larger crew so we can plan access and parking.
Where a VIP option is selected, we ask for the guest's name, expected arrival and a short brief. These details are shared only with front desk and the security team and are not disclosed to anyone else.
National Security Detail — GH₵1,000. Uniformed officers on site for the duration of your booking. Requires at least 48 hours' notice.
VIP Lounge — GH₵1,000. Private room for the day of your booking.
Welcome Flyer — complimentary when you book the VIP Lounge or a security detail. On its own it is GH₵200. Your artwork is displayed on the lobby screen while you shoot.
Total privacy — quoted separately. We close the building to all other clients for your session. This requires advance arrangement and is subject to existing bookings.
We may photograph or film the studio during your session for our own portfolio and social channels.
You control whether we publish anything from your shoot. At booking you can choose "ask me first", "yes", or "no". Where you choose no, we will not post images or footage from your session. Where you choose yes, we may share and tag your work.
Your own content is yours. We claim no rights over material you produce in our studios.
McB Studio Rentals is not liable for loss or damage to personal property brought onto the premises. Please do not leave valuables unattended.
We are not liable for interruptions outside our control, including power outages from the national grid, though we will always offer a reschedule or refund for time lost.
You are responsible for the safety of your own crew, cast and guests, and for any equipment you bring.
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published at the time of your booking.
